Richard leaves the big shopping areas for small, interesting shops and markets. We hear from a man who sells photographs to Outer Mongolia, and some London shoppers tell us what they like.

Comments

I'm sorry to bother you with my questions, but here's another one.
I've found two sections for C1 listenings. The first one is in British Council and the second one is in
British Council LearnEnglish Teens. So if it isn't hard for you, could you tell me whether there is any difference between the listenings of this two sections.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Arthurum,

The design and content of LearnEnglish Teens is aimed at teenagers, while LearnEnglish is aimed at adult learners. It's possible that some content is the same, if it was considered appropriate for both age groups. You can tell for yourself if this is the case by looking at the materials on the pages.

Thanks for the answer. I would love to know which level the videos which are in the Listen and Watch Section are?

Hello Arthurum,

The videos are at different levels but most are tagged with a level. For example, if you go to this Word on the Street episode then you can see 'B1' just above the comments section.

If you want to search for material at a given level then just type the level into the search window (look for the magnifying glass icon near the top of the page).

Best wishes,

Peter

If I had a market stall in London, I would sell office stationary or coffee. I mean a coffee shop having many books and space for kids

Opposite to London, in my country (Vietnam) small stores and markets are very popular. you can find everything in there. From tiny things: needle, button, etc to the "big" things like vehicle. We also have supermarket. But i think small market is more interesting because we can bargain.

It s best way to improve my skills in english

"The choice is a pain" (German proverb)

In my country there are many stall markets trough small streets, people like buying there. We can find local and imported products at reasonable prices.

excuse me how to download this video?thanks
