Hello hakmat kamal!

Well, you should see this website as a library – just borrow whatever interests you! Our Elementary Podcasts are a good place to start. Listen to the podcasts, do the exercises, and talk to other learners about the topic. If you like the Podcasts, try our video series, Word on the Street next. If you want to work on grammar, take a look at our grammar section.

Don't forget that we also have a search box. Put a topic you're interested in into the box – like 'food' or 'the past simple' - and you'll get a list of pages about that topic.

We have a lot of different levels on the site, so don't worry if something is too hard – find something easier, and come back to it later. As I said in answer to your speaking question, just try to look at something ever day!

Hope that helps,

Hello Makhmud T, and welcome to the site!

I'm glad that you liked the Big City, Small World series! I can't promise LearnEnglish will help you with everything you want, but there are some good stories in our stories & poems section, and some interesting articles in our magazine section. I hope you can find something to help!

I think english is easy to speak, and becouse that is most widely in word but also becouse big tradition of UK...Advantages of learning english in some english country have a lot:
1.Faster learning english on most easily way like native learner
2.You learn evry second becouse you are surrounded with english speaker and differente type of accent
3.You will hear some words who are not in dictionary slang

I would like to learn english in UK,precisly in London, becouse i love your accent...
And one qustions for learning english team...Are the LBC 97.3 radio from London good  for larning english before go to sleep...

Hello Armand,
I'm afraid I don't know this station very well, but I just listened to it for a few minutes to see what it was like. If you can understand it, I think listening to any speech radio will be very helpful for your English. However, after you get comfortable with one channel or presenter, it might be a good idea to try listening to something else, to get used to a different style of speaking, different accents etc.
Best wishes,

HI,
JeremyBee I need you're help , In my home country I given muck test after end of my IELTS preparation course. I got 13 marks out of 40 in listening and and 14 out of 40 in reading . So my question is "what 'll be the brand score out of 9?
Hope will get replies  from you soon.
Sinti

Hello sinti!

That's an impossible question to answer without seeing the test! IELTS practice tests aren't all the same difficulty, so I recommend either asking your teacher or looking at the course book; they will usually give you an idea of the band.

Sorry I can't be more helpful!

Regards
