Student: Excuse me, Ms Henderson?

Teacher: Yes, Diana. How can I help you?

Student: I'm sorry, but I can't come to class next Wednesday. I have a doctor's appointment.

Teacher: OK. Thanks for letting me know.

Student: Is there anything to do at home?

Teacher: Let me just check my notebook. OK, first of all … you need to read chapters 17, 19 and 20 in the book. There are also some articles and a video to watch – those are online. I'll post the links online in the usual place.

Student: Chapters 17 to 20.

Teacher: Yes, except chapter 18. Chapters 17, 19 and 20.

Student: Ah, OK. Um ... is there a deadline?

Teacher: Yes, this Friday. But there's something else. I was going to give you all a practice test.

Student: A practice test?

Teacher: Yes, to help people prepare for the mid-term exam.

Student: Ah. All right.

Teacher: Don't worry, I can send you the practice test by email on Wednesday. Can you send it to me before Friday?

Student: Sure, no problem.

Teacher: And don't forget to bring a certificate from the doctor to the office.

Student: Thanks, Ms Henderson! I'll do that.

Teacher: You're welcome, Diana. Take care.

As I am not studying at any school or university at the moment, thus I don't have to worry about homework but back in my school days, there was a lot of homework to do from my teachers. They wanted us to kept busy even after school timing. Thank god those days are over.

I like to do all kinds of homework in English such as essays, reports, and coursework. I love so much English particularly if I am working in the international area.

Finally I do not have to worry about my homework after graduation. I should be happy but I always thought of the moment when I was doing the ambiguous results for the maths homework. Now I take lesson online every day to study English, which is also a kind of homework after a long day working.

I don’t have any studies assignments. I finished my studies last year and the only commitment that I have now is to improve my English skills. Due to COVID, I can't attend any English classes in a private school, so I'm trying to learn on my own. I setting myself homework, every day to listen to stories, select unknown words, write essays, and to practice speaking part. That’s means I have a lot of homework to do every day with a regular schedule. I'm putting too much effort to be fluent in English, and this is my aim for the next year.

All my wish today, apart from being a teacher is to master Perfect English as my mother tongue that's why I take seriously any training going in the direction of improving myself and British council offers me the opportunity to do it, I really appreciate these learning sites.
