i often travel by plane or train every 3 years.

The last year when I was in cape Town I use the train one time only. It was from cape Town to Crescent beach. In fact it was old and noisy and uncomfortable but I enjoyed.

I used the plane once in my life on an international trip.
And I used the train once in my life too, but on a domestic trip

I use to travel by plane once a year for national or international flights. It's not easy to understand all the announcements so it's important to know all the terminology related to this transports.

I prefer to travel by plane on my vacation. I only have an internal trip and an abroad trip every year. So traveling by plane save time more.

Hello learEnglish team,

I'm a bit confused about the sentence 3 task 1.
In my opinion the correct answer is "False", because train is delayed by 8-mins, not the passengers.
If I'm wrong, Please correct

Hello Muhiddin,

When a train is late we can say either that the train is delayed or that the passengers have been delayed. If I phone my friend to tell them I'm going to be late, for example, the I might say 'I've been delayed'.

Dear team.
From the audio above:
Please mind the gap between the train and the platform.
You won't hear this from the Indonesian train's annonser.
But You will hear : 'Check your belongings and step carefully'.
The question:
What do you say about the last sentence???
Thank you very much for your answer.

Hello fahri,

That makes sense to me, and it's important to remember that English is spoken slightly differently in different places around the world.

I would probably say 'mind your step' instead of 'step carefully', but I think it's clear enough, though it is slightly unnatural to my ears.

All the best,

Kirk

Does anyone notice a mistake in question 3? It says Oxford but the tape mentions Bristol.
