Hi Samia,
Just a quick email to say that sounds like a great idea. Saturday is better for me because I'm meeting my parents on Sunday. So if that's still good for you, why don't you come here? Then you can see the new flat and all the work we've done on the kitchen since we moved in. We can eat at home and then go for a walk in the afternoon. It's going to be so good to catch up finally. I want to hear all about your new job!
Our address is 52 Charles Road, but it's a bit difficult to find because the house numbers are really strange here. If you turn left at the post office and keep going past the big white house on Charles Road, there's a small side street behind it with the houses 50–56 in. Don't ask me why the side street doesn't have a different name! But call me if you get lost and I'll come and get you.
Let me know if there's anything you do/don't like to eat. Really looking forward to seeing you!
See you soon!
Gregor
I chat with my friends by WhatsApp or maybe by Email, because is more easy to contact to improve my read and write skills
I don't use email to make plans with my friends, usually I contact them with social media apps.
I don´t use an email to communicate with my friends, I prefer to use what's up or call them .
In real life, we're used to make informal plan through social media.
That is not good idea because we didn't make real life inviting friend with email.
I don´t use an email to communicate with my friends, usually i use Whatsapp or other social media but never email.
I never use an email to talk with a friend only I use WhatsApp
I have never made planes with my friends by Email, Sometimes by Whatsapp but it sounds like a great idea to try making a plane by Email and write the famous word that I've learned today "CATCH UP".
I usually use my email to invite my friends or talk with my family. Normally I use WhatsApp to talk with my friends and family. My e-mail is more for work or formal conversation.
I agree with you . Because if use of email invite friends , it loses your friendliness
I don't ever make plans via email address. Email is good only formal talk and in working people
i and my friends have never made plans on email because we have message on the phone
I'm too.
True but its also funny like 25 years before. So if you want to feel the vibe.🤝
Hi SStanley,
The full phrase is:
The preposition on is connected to all the work we've done. The base phrase is do work on something.
Your suggestion is good too! You could put in instead of on. Structurally, this is a bit different, because in is connected to the kitchen (not all the work we've done). But the meaning is pretty much the same.
Does that make sense?

Hello Lilly098,
Gregor does not say directly that he is going to cook, so there is some interpretation here, I agree. However, I think if a person says 'we can eat at home' then it generally means that they are planning to cook or make something. If they intended to get something delivered, then they would probably ask what kind of food the person liked (Italian, Chinese etc) rather than asking if there was something they could not eat.
