I used to have a dog and a cat as pets when I was a child. Now I live in a small apartment and there is no enough room for them. I like horses too and I would like to have a farm someday with chickens, pigs, goats, and rabbits.
My father is a farmer, he takes care of goats and cows. I do not take care of any pets. I never saw a pig before.
I care my cats but they don't care me. They are running away when they see me. I never saw a sheep.
I don't have any of these animals at my home, but before I had a very nice Cat and, I never saw a Pig.
I have a question. Why is a mouse one of the farm animals? A cat has a role of chasing a mouse. But why does a mouse live in a farm? :(
I have a cat, his name is Misha. I care about him. I saw the rest of the animals in my grandmother's village
yes, I have a dog and two cats, I know farm animals and my favorite is the rabbit and the horse
Yes, I have a cat that I take care of since she was born, my parents take care of sheep and my sister a puppy that they gave her on her birthday. and no, I've already seen them all at least once.
I love cat and dog. They are my favorite pets. In my house , there are always cats or dogs . I don't see sheep. Because I live in uptown, so I can't see these sheep.
Currently, I don't. But, we had a dog in my parents' house and one summer I went there for holidays and I took care of him. I gave him showers, fed him, played with him, went for a walk with him, and even talked to him when I felt bad. He was like a friend, we spent a lot of time together. I've never seen a pig. I used the past simple, but I'm not sure if it is correct. I'm a bit confused! Would you please tell me which tense I should use in this case. Thank you for your attention. Best wishes
Hello Peter, Thank you for your answer. I was confused because when I described the action of feeding 'I fed him' I meant that I was doing that over a period of time in the past, in this case, during the holidays, not only once.
I have a dog and a cat. When they were sick, I took care of them carefully and dedicatedly. I have never seen a sheep in my life.
Now I have two dogs and six cats) Because I live in the village I have no problems with so many animals) My grandfather had many rabbits and I liked to play with them when I was a childe. I rode a horse and I didn't like it.
when I was young, I raised 3 dogs (Big dog, Lai, Su) but Big dog and Lai dead already, and now I just raise Su, and I love it so much.
I'd love to have pets but I still doesn't have. I maybe will choose a cat because this animal doesn't too much care, it can make his life by it own. Maybe when I will have a house or more time for me I will take a dog too. I think I've ever seen all of this animals, perhaps not pigs. Sadly I've already see mice in my flat ... I'd prefer to never have see this animal ;)

Hello Fatony, I'm afraid we don't check our users' posts for errors. We get a lot of requests like this and it's just not possible for us to do it for everyone. We would end up doing our users' homework for them, I expect! Peter The LearnEnglish Team
I live on a farm but I've been living on campus next to the farm since last year. I enjoy my time at university. In the future, I will be working in a firm. I still have a struggle with prepositions such as 'on' 'at' 'in'. Why do people say 'live on a far' instead of 'in a farm' or 'in campus'? Is it because it's difficult to know the precise area?? Can anybody help me?

Hello Smiley1

In general, 'in' is often used with places that have a clear boundary (e.g. a city or country), 'on' is used for surfaces (including streets) and some kinds of transport, and 'at' for more specific locations or when we are thinking more about the activity we carry out in a place more than the physical place itself (e.g. 'at the chemist's'). There's a more detailed explanation on this Cambridge Dictionary page that I would recommend taking a look at.

As for, 'on campus' and 'on a farm', you could think of these as surfaces, though of course you could also think of them as places with boundaries. Often, I'm afraid, you just have to learn which prepositions are used with specific words -- and that is the case with these words.

All the best

My family live in a village and we have a cat, chickens and pig. I took care of the cat, he is very lovely.
Animals above are domestic one so most of the people have seen them at least once. In England, you can see mice too much particularly when there is a large green space around your house. Years ago I had a cat and he was so lovely and loyal like a dag. He was only pet I used to take care. After that, I brought no pet to keep at the house. In my personal idea, we take their freedom and change their habits to what we want to. That is true, we take care, feed or water them, and love them but they do not belong to our lifestyle; they are part of nature and we have taken them apart from the original place.
I've seen all of these animals, but I've taken care of none of them. ٩꒰。•◡•。꒱۶' ...(ノ-_-)ノ~
Actually, no. But, I want to take care of a dog like pitbull, because they look very rude but I think that they are so sweet and friendly. In general, about those animals there is not any that I don't want to see.
I don't have any animals in my house. But my gandparents had cow, chickens, pigs and cat. They lived in the village.
