i have a big problem.i want to know that do we want an advance grammar knowledge to speak english?

Hi bimsara,

I'm afraid I'm not sure I understand your question. Do you perhaps want to ask if it's necessary to have an advanced knowledge of grammar to speak English?

The answer to that question depends on how you're going to use English. If you want it for informal conversation, you can usually get by without advanced grammar. On the other hand, if you want to use English in more formal contexts, you'll need to know more advanced grammar.

If I haven't answered your question, please ask us again!

Best wishes,

hi British team there is little confusion in my mind i didn't understand the meaning of this sentence ("a position came up").whats the use of this sentence.hope u will help me.

Hello jia!
Don't forget we have a dictionary box on the right! If you look the words up in the dictionary, you will see a position means a job. Come up means become available. In the dictionary, the example is
A position has come up in the accounts department.
That is, there is now a job available in the accounts department.

Hope that helps!
