Hello ljudamed,

It sounds like you may need to download and install the Adobe Flash Player on your device. That should solve the problem, but if not, please let us know.

Hi British Council!

I would like to know if is possible to available Word on the street in mp3? It will be helpful to me improve the listening from Ipod.

Thanks

Hi charlesaustralia77,

I'm afraid Word on the Street is only available in video format online. The good news is that there are lots of other resources you can download - just search for 'British Council LearnEnglish' in the iTunes store, and you'll see a complete list there.

Aren't we allowed to download the videos? I'm a teacher and I'd like to use them with my students. You're videos are amazing!!!!!!

Hello PROFESSORTARDELLI,

I'm afraid the videos on LearnEnglish cannot be downloaded for both technical and legal reasons. However, you can watch them as often as you wish online, entirely free of charge, and you are welcome to use them with your students.

Best wishes,

Hello LocadelIngles,

You should download and install the latest version of the Adobe Flash player on your device. This normally solves problems with videos and exercises. If that doesn't work for you, try a different web browser or device and see if that helps. If you still can't get it to work, please let us know and we'll do our best to help you.

Hey Guys,
I would be thrilled if you answer my question : is there any difference when we use ( is or are + past participle ) or ( has/have + been + participle ) . For instance English language is spoken in many countries , or English language has been spoken in many countries

Hello Fouka,

The difference between the two examples you give is the difference between the present simple ('is spoken') and the present perfect ('has been spoken'). Please take a look at those pages, and then let us know if you have any further questions.

All the best,
Kirk
