Ashlie and Stephen’s video is a hit!

Do the Preparation task first. Then do the first two Tasks while watching the video. After that, try the third Task. If you need help, you can read the Transcript at any time.

Task 1

Task 2

Task 3

We can use 'I don't think' to express a negative opinion in a more polite way. For example, Ashlie thinks, 'Poppy doesn't understand (–)'.
But she says, 'I don't think (–) she understands (+).

It's amazing experience for me!
Thank you.

Good evening! My question to you about definitins of words. For instance, When I read books, magazines, or other materials, I meet a lot of unknown words. However, as you know,a lot of words have several different definitions, but I require one of those definitions. How do you think in such cases I should learn all definitions of that word, or just that which is related to the word's meaning in the text or book? It is very major thing for me, so I have decided to seek advice from you. Thanks in advance!

Hello Abbas Eli,

I have already answered this question on another page for you. Sometimes there is a slight delay between the question being posted and a reply being made, but please post questions once only - multiple posting of the same question only makes the process slower.

Oh sorry, Mr. Peter. I didn't know that I have posted the same question two times because the first time when I tried to post this question it was written that the question is unpublished and it was waiting moderation; therefore, I posted the second time again. Now, I grasp it. Again thank for answer!
