Thank you very much, alisalih

hello lenhung,
I think your 're right all the theories that the scientists had proven are almost right but there are limits that we can't exceed thanks to our high-tech devices we now can explore alot of things but they still mysterouse do you know why ? thanks to the great inflation for the universe. the light takes time and time to reach to our naked eyes i think that our first and last experience is exploring the moon. have you ever seen a podcast for marz or venus they are impossible even to land on thanks
and i'd like to thank you for your comments

Hello ahmed only,

Thank you very much for your agreement with my opinion. By the way, I'd like to have you point these out of my comments or you can also share to me know about your opinion in each Podcast exercise.

One more thing that I want to explore: Pyramid in Egypt, culture,etc.. I watched "The Mummy returns" so I'm very like it.

Thanks a lot and have a nice day.

Hi everyone,

I have an activity when I was stressed that is swim before I haven't done any activity for myself. Too many problems happening me around: studies, exams, works, and the love includes I'm really tired, insomnia, worried, ..Everyone is advice me I should be read of book, listen to music, to walk, however, all of methods haven't made me feel better.
In once casually some of my friends has taken me to go a pool to swimming but I didn't know to swim they taught me and I like swim since that time. I started doing it three years ago In fact, I'm quite lazy for physical exercises so It's good for my health, like physical exercises and this is a way to reduce stresses, too. It makes me feel comfortable, refresh more when I have to activity my shoulder muscle, arms, legs, almost all my bodies and my mind must be completely concentrate for drive to swim movements, thus, during on my swimming I haven't time to thinking about other things this is a reason why I feel relax after swim. There are to many activities that good for health: meditation, Yoga, belly dance, etc... it depends on each case with someone can choose suit activity.

In my opinion, I don't think that space exploration waste of many and time, because we need to improve our ability on tech and science, we need lots of information about where we are living not only earth but also our galaxy and other planet. We can't know what wait for us in future and we need to be ready for all things.

Hello again :) I don't understand the meaning of ( It's nothing Grand but we like it ) in section 6 Carolina's part . I looked it up in the dictionary and I found it is with many meanings i don't understand what is the exact meaning of sentence . Thanks for help .

Hello littlemoon86,

'It's nothing grand' in this context means 'it's not particularly special or impressive'. In other words, Carolina is saying that they like the house even though it's not a palace or a spectacular villa or something similar.

This kind of sentence is quite common as a way of qualifying praise. For example, you might say about a film 'it's no masterpiece, but I enjoyed it', or about a book 'it's not great literature, but it was a good read'.

I hope that clarifies it for you.

Best wishes

Hello. Thanks to this amazing podcast. actually I have a question regarding to the pronunciations of (isn't it? ) I sometimes hear it hear like (isn' it ) and i sometimes hear it like (isn't it ) . I am trying to describe what i actually hear with two different pronunciations. can you tell me am i wrong or right? and which one is the best pronunciation? Thanks for time :) Have a Great Day .

Hi littlemoon86,

You have a good ear! You're right that sometimes the "t" sound in "isn't" is sometimes not pronounced. The changing or omission of sounds (another example is "going to" pronounced as "gonna") is called reduced speech or connected speech.

This is very common, especially in informal situations, and is acceptable in such a context. In a formal context, or in English class, I would recommend using the non-reduced pronunciation.

Best wishes,

Definitely space exploration is not a waste of time and money. It shows that our technology is getting higher and higher. It help us explore the universe so that we can protect the Earth from things out there as well as help us observe the Earth. And that will be great if we discover another planet like Earth, which could be a new home for the human!
