I've got any memories about the Sunday's dinner, in my parent's home.
My mother cooked her masterpiece -tagliatelle all'uovo al sugo di carne- while my grand-mother was cooking the roast.
A fabulous smell filled the air while I and my twin brother were waiting in our bedroom .
I remember my father in the backyard, my sister lost in her diary and me, entirely sure that nothing bad could be happening to us.
So Many years have passed, about fourty, and a lot things good and bad too, but when I cook the "my mother's masterpiece" for my wife and my son, I can't see my mum, but I can hear her voice call me and my brother .
The Sunday's dinner sometimes make me melancholy...

Sorry but I can't translate "tagliatelle all'uovo al ragù di carne" but I can assure you that they are very delicious !

What do you do to postpone a work, which you don’t like doing it?

Well actually it depends on where I am at the moment. If I’m at work I’ll have a verity things to do to put off my work. I can just make a cup a tea, check my emails and my Telegram every 2 minutes. It would be a good idea to surf around on Internet and take a look at some funny pics and videos. You know, these days social networks made is easy to delay your main work and waste your time on your computer, and finally get nothing valuable.
At home there are quite a range of activities to postpone my work, I can just channel surf or distract my attention by playing with kids, or probably clean my flat. I don’t like solitaire games though, and I’d rather play a car chase game with my little daughter. Plus listening to music or watching a movie would be probably a good idea to get distracted. Also we have plenty of plants in our balcony, which watering them all truly takes a long time and let you waste your time in the best way ever.

hi..
Is it correct to say " He might have found a girlfriend"? can you please explain the use of words might and maybe?

Hi ca.kulwinder,

Yes, that is quite correct. If we say 'He might find...' then we are talking about the future; if we say 'He might have found...' then we are talking about the past.

'Might' is a modal verb and you can find out about its use on our pages on modal verbs. 'Maybe' is an adverb which means the same as 'perhaps'.

Best wishes,

Peter
