Hi Dr

It's been a while, Happy New Year! Please help.
'Had it been you came with your bag . . .' and 'had it been you come with your bag . . .' which is correct?

Hello Counsel,

I'm afraid that neither of those sentences is correct and I'm not sure what you mean. Sorry!

Best wishes,
Kirk

Hello Dr

Having made this sentence I doubt if it's correct: "Criticism doesn't make one go weak; rather, it makes one go wild." Please if it's been correct. Why 'go' and not 'goes'?

Hello Counsel,

The structure make + object + infinitive, in which the verb 'make' is followed by an object and a bare infinitive, is quite common; this sentence is grammatically correct. Good work!

All the best,

I think it's sometimes better to not tell the whole truth Because you might hurt each others feelings. I used to believe that it's always better to tell the whole truth and also expected this from friends. I got angry when somebody used an excuse. Now I realize people sometimes don't tell the truth because they just don't know how to say it, because they're a bit scared of someone's reaction or just to save someone's feelings. I also think that some people use this "honesty" to be rude and say things that aren't very kind. "Hey, I'm just being honest!"

hi,
i would like to give my opinion about the topic" telling truth or lie".
actually, i think most people are glad to tells the truth. and i think people must have a skills to tell truth to make sure we are not hurt others feeling or make they ashamed. however, sometimes we cant avoid to tell a lie too as long as the lies is for our common good.

**could you please check my grammar..
thanks =)

Hello, everybody!
I think, generally everyone should tells truth. But not always. Sometimes it isn't very good. And there are situations when it mustn't tell truth. For example, if the soldier was taken prisoner, should he tells truth to the enemy?
P.S. Sorry for my English.
