Finally I have finished two series of Elementary podcast ,Series 1 and 2. So I am ready for the third Series. Thank you for your efforts . I am making much progress in my fluency I hope after finishing the third ones to be more able to speak much fluently without hesitations and say Um, Er and....., My listening is very good so I will try to concentrate more on speaking , That is my weakness really.
Best Regards British Council Team :)

I want to ask a question , I hope the English team help me.
In series 02- Episode 10- section 7
exercise 2
I understood that we use  only strong adjectives with absolutely
and we can use the strong and ordinary adjectives with really
but what about very and quite are they used with ordinary adjectives only?
another question related to exercise 3
when we use love for zero
These are fantastic exercises thank you too much

Hi hayaalqasem,

The answer to your first question can be found in quite a lot of detail on our intensifiers page, where you'll also find more exercises, but briefly: very is used with ordinary adjectives, and quite can be used with both ordinary and strong adjectives.

0 is pronounced "love" only in the context of tennis.

We're really glad you find the exercises useful!

Best wishes,

The LearnEnglish Team

You are very gorgeous. These podcasts are really helpful. Many thanks British Council

Thank you very much you are awesome .....

hello,I think that questions 1/2(2/2),exercise 1 are wrong.series 2,episode 10(where are the gaps in the dialogue to fill in?).Maybe ,I haven't quite understand the questions.

Hi Strukturist,
Do you mean the exercise "I think I might stop..." under Section 1 - Conversations in English? If so, there are no gaps to fill in - you need to re-order the dialogue by dragging and dropping the different sentences into the correct order.
If you meant something else, please let us know.
Best wishes,

Hello everyone!
I'm a new member in this website. My name is Nikolina. I'm from Bulgaria. I want to learn English like all of you.
I listen Elementary Podcasts every day. Tess and Ravi are fantastic presenters. I really like them. My favourite section is "I'd like to talk about". I can find lots of unknown words in it and to learn so much interesting things. :)
I like Ravi's jokes, but I think Gordan's are better :))
Finally, I want to tell you Tom is perfect teacher. His advices are very important and his explanations are easy and clear.
Thank you, Tom. Thank you, British Council.
I'll write again.
I hope you say me  when I make mistakes.

I'm sorry to hear about this problem. I just tested the registration and it worked OK for me. Second Life isn't a site that we run, so you will need to speak to them directly about this problem. This website seems to be a good starting place.
