Hello everyone, actually I love each time of day. I like get up early in the morning for studying English, after that I exercise for about 45 minutes. Then I go to work. I come back at home at 4:00 pm and I practice English again.
I take some English classes in the afternoon. And the night is the best moment for relaxing, and sharing a lot of time with my son.
So, I love every moment of day.

Excellent exercise.

Hi everyone!
My favorite time of day is the evening, when I can relax after the work and have a time for something interesting, for example learning English with British Council, reading, listening to music. It always seems to me the evening is so long, but the time run over. So I always stay up too late at night and next morning I wake up very hard. Sometimes I like the morning too. It may be at the weekend in the summer, when I'm able to get up later. In such morning I enjoy sunshine a few minutes on my balkony.

hi,my favourite part of the day are the evenings when I go out at the park with my son and my wife to play or to ride a bicicle together or so. I defenatly think that the best moments are hwo are spended with the family with the people i love.

hi everyone and many thanks to the british council for their interesting podcasts. they are useful for me and i wish to be corrected about the mistakes i will do
i come from guinea conakry and start to use this website long time ago but i have just registered to attend the comments
i usually wake early in the morning (around 6:30) in working days. i like to be very earlier as it gives me the time to run many tasks during the day. the first thing i have to do is to say my prayer and then take a quick bath because i must not delay because there is a monster trafic jam to face in the morning.
now let's come to which part of the day i like the most, it's the evening, definetly, because it's very quiet on this part of the day and the way for me to have a nice rest while listening to the slow music.
best regards!

My favorite part of the day is the morning. I feel energy. I wake up early. I like early morning, specially in summer or in spring. I like to walk in the morning. I like to work in the morning too. I always do exercise (training) in the morning. And I'm ready to start new day.

My favourite time of the day is in the evening . When I can sit with my mum and dad after returning back from work . we watch the T.V and talk together .I also like morning so much as I wake up early full of energy and start my day .I start my day at 5 a.m. first I pray and then read Qur'an and I enjoy listening to the sounds of birds in the morning. I plan my whole day and start it with hope and confidence.

My favourite time of the day is in the evening. It's time for every family's members to meet and have dinner together. During the day, the adults go to work, the children go to study. After working hard, we go home and talk about how our day is. We share every stories with each other and have fun. However we are busy, wherever we work in, we'd better have dinner together. It's a traditional routine in my country.

Hello,
when do we use at and in with words like university and school.I know that we usually use at with these words, but i read the following sentence on your website and got confused: "If you are studying in a British university you will be required to do a large amount of writing, whatever your subject."
Thanks in advance

Hi zagrus,

Many would also use at in the sentence you mention as well. at is used with school, university and other places that are buildings especially when referring to the activity that happens there (e.g. studying, being a student, research, etc.) as opposed to location in the physical buildings themselves.

Best wishes,

Kirk
