I've noticed another language construction. Stephen says: 'So, you mean I don't need any foreign money after all'. What does 'after all' mean? When we use it? Thanks!

Hello Safe_Mode,

We use after all to emphasise that something is true in spite of beliefs, considerations or evidence which cast doubt on it. For example:

I overslept and was sure I was going to be late for the train, but it was delayed so I didn't miss it after all.
