the grammar is dificult for me
In Excercise 2, it says "He listens to jazz to help him concentrate". Why do we need to before jazz?

The verb 'listen' uses preposition 'to' before its object:
listen to the rain
listen to my friend
listen to the radio
That is why there is 'to' before jazz' here.
