Noelia: I'm very well. I love your hair. It's fabulous!

Noelia: Vanya?
Vanya: Yes!
Noelia: Hello! It's so good to finally meet you in person!
Vanya: You too! It's great to put a face to a name. I thought you were in Spain this week.

Vanya: Fine! Really good! All the team have been so welcoming.
Noelia: Good! We have a lovely team here. Now, has Emir set you up with an email address?
Vanya: He has. I'm all ready to go!

Vanya: Not right now, thanks.
Noelia: Well, let me know if I can help at all.
Vanya: I will, thank you.
Noelia: Actually, I've got an idea. What are you doing later?
Vanya: I haven't got any plans.
Noelia: Great. Meet me here at six. Don't be late!

If someone is new to my area, I’d ask if there’s a specific type of place they’d like to visit. If not, I’d take them to my favorite coffee and dessert shop, followed by the nearby shopping center so they can find what they need for future trips. If they're still up for it, we could end the day with a relaxing walk by the river.
I’m kind of a calm person, so I’m always looking for quiet, peaceful places. I don’t like super crowded areas. I’d definitely take someone I’ve just met to my favorite parks. I live in Warsaw, and Łazienki Park is a place I love, especially in the morning when there are less people than during the day. There are lots of interesting creatures there, such as squirrels, peacock, swans, and ducks. You can literally feed them. Squirrels are used to eating right out of your hand! It’s a really amazing feeling to be so close to nature while still being right in the heart of a big city.
I’d probably say: I’d take you to some nice spots around here maybe start with the CN Tower for the view, then go for a walk in High Park, and later grab some food at Kensington Market. It’s a good mix of sightseeing and relaxing.
If someone were new to my local area, I would show them some hidden gems, like the best bars because I think it is the best way to meet the locals. Lastly, I think I would show them the main supermarkets, museums, and parks for a walk.
If someone is new in my city, I would show my guest the city and the parks around the city.
Trere are some really nice cafes where people can enjoy their meals sitting outside. The park is beautiful. Trere are a lot of trees and flowers in a perfect composition. It looks incredible.
Then I would ask my guest: "What would you like to do in this city?"
I would be a guide for my friend. I would also show a museum in my city.
If someone was new to my local area, first of all, I would try to be welcoming and supportive so that they feel comfortable and safe.
Secondly, I would show them the essential places they might need in their daily life, such as supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, the nearest hospital, pharmacies, gyms, and gas stations. This would help them become familiar with the area more quickly.
After that, I would organize a small tour around the town to introduce them to the best and most beautiful places, including the beach, popular restaurants, and cozy spots where people usually relax.
Finally, I would share important phone numbers, such as the police and emergency services. I would also recommend useful delivery services for food and groceries. In addition, I would help them install transportation applications like Gozem and Yango so they can move around easily before buying a motorbike or a car.
Overall, I would do my best to make them feel welcome and help them settle in smoothly.
In Jordan, I would first take them to downtown Amman to experience the good atmosphere and local culture. Then we would go to Wadi Rum, which has anamazing landscape and has appeared in many movies, such as The Martian and Dune. After that, we would visit Petra, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the world.
I would show them the streets and the Nile and the drag stores that i buy my stuff from
What would you show someone who was new to your local area?
I would show them the local landmarks, the river, the city center, parks, and entertainment spots.
I'm from Manila, Philippines. The weather here is hot and humid, so first, I'll ask her if she wants to visit malls, coffee shops, the park, etc. If, for example, she prefers the mall, I'll invite her for dinner first and have coffee. The next day, I will introduce her to my friends and family. I'll show her the bus stations, the market, government agencies, etc. There are a lot of beautiful beaches and mountains here, so I'll make a plan and show her if there's a long weekend.
