In Seville, people celebrate the New Year, Chrismas, Holy Week, the Fair of Seville, Epiphany. Those are the major celebrations or at least the ones I could remember.

We use to celebrate Christmas here, it's one of the biggest celebration of the year. Even if I use to think it's more and more a commercial celebration, I also think it's the moment to take time and appreciate every good moment in family.

I'm from Azerbaijan. We have various kinds of holidays which people do celebrate in my country. Novruz bayrami,Kurban bayrami (also called the "Festival of the Sacrifice") and new year for example. Novruz holiday is one of the most important and favorite holidays of the Azerbaijani people. It marks the arrival of spring and is celebrated on, March 20-21 – the beginning of the astronomical New Year. Usually, many different traditional meals are cooked by Azerbaijanian people on this holiday. Moreover, people make a fire and jump over the fire. PS: In Azerbaijanian language "bayram" means "holiday or festival".

Hello everyone! I am from Kazakhstan, people celebrate a New Year in 31 of December in my country. Before this holiday people buy presents for relatives and friends. Besides people decorated a Christmas tree with lights, tinsel, and all presents we put under the Christmas tree. We cooked a lot of delicious dishes and traditional cuisine. And the best thing which I adore is making wishes at 12.00 p.m.
