I'm running 10 mins late, sorry!

15:57

No problem!

15:58

Aargh! Traffic is really bad. I'll be more than 10 mins late now, sorry again!!

16:07

It's OK, don't worry. I'm in the café already so it's fine

16:08

This is not my day! I'm here but can't find a place to park. I'm looking for a different car park. Not sure how long I'll be

16:09

OK, LMK when you find a place

16:11

I might get something to eat tho

16:11

Of course! I'll be as quick as I can

16:13

OK!

16:13

Found one! Be there in 10 mins

16:16

Well done! See you soon

16:16

Thx for waiting

Tips

1. You don't need to write complete sentences for text messages.

2. Use abbreviations like LMK (= let me know) or use emojis to save time writing.

3. You don't need to use full stops (.) at the end of messages.

4. Say how many minutes you think you'll need, e.g. I'm running 10 minutes late.

5. It’s good to say sorry and sorry again, but you don't need to say sorry in every message.

I am mostly a bit late and not on time according other people. I believe that any period more than three minutes should be considered lateness.

I'm always on time, being late really annoys me.

I would say…. it depends. At school, I was always punctual and at work I have also been punctual. However with my friends and family, we are more flexible. We usually make a rough plan and then confirm the details on the way to meet.

I usually late, its depends of the context. For example for a meeting job 5 minutes late is ok for me, but in a social meeting with friend is ok arrive with more delayed (30 minutes for example).

I'm usually on time or even earlier because. I believe punctuality is a core value, and it says a lot about you as a responsible person.

I usually go to school or arrive arrangements on time or earlier. Even though the place is so far from my house, I still go as early as I can. It's because I think when you're there on time or before the start time, you appreciate that arrangement.

I am really a punctual person, and I do care about being on time especially when someone is supposed to wait for me and I hate being waiting for someone also making others wait but unfortunately, most of the time I can't be on time and ready when I go outside. The problem is that I spend a lot of time on dressing and makeup.

Arggg, let me see... I'm usually late if I have a lecture at 7:00AM bc of traffic jams. But I'm usually on time if I hang out with friends bc I don't want them to wait for me and feel annoyed.
