Great mains, pity about the chips

Came for lunch with my sister. We loved our Thai-style mains which were amazing with lots of flavour, very impressive for a vegetarian restaurant.

But the service was below average and the chips were too terrible to finish.

When we arrived at 1.40, we had to wait 20 minutes while they got our table ready. OK, so we didn't have a reservation, but the restaurant was only half full. There was no reason to make us wait at all.

We ordered the chips as a side dish and they looked delicious. But, when we tasted them, they were overcooked and swimming in oil so we left most of them. We expected a lot more for $10!

When the waiter asked if everything was ok, we said we really didn't like the chips and he said 'That's funny, I love them' and that was it. He didn't offer us anything else or take them off our bill. Also, when we didn't leave a tip, he looked annoyed.

I was really excited about visiting Vega, and the mains were just fantastic, but the rest of the experience was really disappointing.

Tips

  1. Use an informal or semi-formal style.
  2. In the title, give the main idea or opinion.
  3. Write about the important parts of the experience, not every detail.
  4. Organise your ideas into paragraphs.
  5. Write about the good and the bad.

Delicious hot dogs, but a mistake with the orders

I went to this restaurant because I really like the place and the food is delicious, but this time I was with my cousin because she wanted to try their hot dogs. I asked for mine without onions and without pineapple sauce, while my cousin asked for hers without corn sauce. However, the waitress was a little distracted or confused, so she mixed up the orders.

When the food arrived, my cousin received the hot dog without onions, and I could have eaten it, but it already had pineapple sauce. I received the one with onions but with corn sauce, the sauce my cousin didn't want. However, I simply took the onion out of my hot dog and gave it to my cousin.

Regardless of that, the hot dogs were really delicious and had a good flavor; that is the reason why I would come back, but I hope they pay more attention to the special requests next time.

Great food, disappointing service

I went to Vega in New York for lunch with my sister. The Thai‑style mains were delicious, full of flavour and very impressive for a vegetarian restaurant.

Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was not so good. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table even though the restaurant was half empty, and the service felt below average. The chips we ordered looked nice but were overcooked and oily, so we couldn’t finish them. For $10, we expected much better.

When we mentioned this to the waiter, he simply said he liked the chips himself and didn’t offer us an alternative or remove them from the bill. His reaction when we didn’t leave a tip was also disappointing.

Overall, the mains were fantastic, but the poor service and bad side dish spoiled the visit.

Pizza circle, New Delhi

Better food, worst service

New Delhi is famous for its multiple variety's food including some spicy, tangy, sweet, etc. But the most famous dish is Pizza, which is far more famous and far good than any other food. To taste the same experience, I went to Pizza circle, a renowned food chain brand famous for best Pizzas. I was so excited about the that store.

Real Experience

When I went into the restaurant first time, the cleaning staff welcome me and my friends by mopping us on our shoes. Our first experience immediately changed just after first step. We decided to take steps forward to order something, and order 4 Pizzas with different seasonings and go back to the tables. We started waiting for food, but it was so late even our excitement all gone.

Just when we had eaten our food then later, we just amazed by the fabulous taste of pizza. It was so good that we can't deny the flavours in mouth.

Overall, the taste of food is worth eating, but they should surely ensure that their staff must accountable to customers for their bad behaviour.

"The saddest lunch"

The last time was for my girlfriend's graduation. We went to Crepes & Waffles on 72nd Street. When we arrived, we entered the restaurant very fast because we went with my girlfriend's family, we were 8 people approximately.

I ordered a Panne Cook, that was so delicious but the bread was too toasted and it was almost impossible to eat. My girlfriend ordered a strange type of pizza, although it was amazing, it took approximately 30 minutes to arrive, just when we had all already finished.

The service that day was terrible and generally it is not like that. It was sad because when the bill arrived, they added the service charge but it was very bad because it took too long and we wanted to share a special moment. In the end, I wanted to try the soda and ice cream but we didn't order them because we wanted to leave due to the bad service.

"The best feijoada I ever had"

Some months ago I tried a new restaurante in the center of São Paulo called "Sagrado Mineiro" which had the best feijoada I ever had. Besides the dishes, the service was amazing, the waiter was very attencious and fast.

I went with two people in the middle of the day like 1pm and we had the table very quick.

Evrything was perfect there. I definitely recommend it!

Sure, it happens to me every now and then; I'm used to writing reviews on a specialized website for the restaurants I visit.

Ice-cold, but with a terrible taste

I orderer a milkshake from a very famous fast-food restaurant for delivery. But, when it arrived at my home and I tasted it... I felt like I was dying.

Is Outback a good restaurant? I went to Outback to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday on apri, and i have some points to talk about. First, i need to say that the waiters were very kind and helpfull. I was with fever and they changed our table to get confortable (even with a specific reservation in a crowded day). The atmosfer of the restaurant is unmistakable, and the service was perfect. To start the night we ordered a rib with potatos as a main, we loved the seasoning, but all food was very oily. Outback is kinda expensive, but i would recomend for everyone who wants to tast a good food in a beautiful place. My boyfriend recived a desert as a gift to celebrate his birthday. He is realy shy and the garçons were very respectiful with his decision to not get a screams with his name. The drinks were very cold and with a good price (the ice tea was my favorite one). After a night eating good foods we payed the bill and gave a god tip to the waiters. We arived the rest

Yeah, but it was a delivery order. I ordered a Chicken Burger Meal. When I started to eat, I felt a weird texture in my mouth. After more than one bite, I realized that the Chicken was raw. I really got disappointed because it was a really famous fast food restaurant.

I recently visited a small restaurant in my village that is well known for its local food. When I arrived, I found an empty seat and immediately called a waiter to take my order. I wanted a cup of black coffee without sugar, so I specifically requested that. However, the waiter brought me coffee with sugar. When I pointed out the mistake, he responded rudely and insisted that the coffee did not contain sugar, telling me to either drink it or leave it. His attitude made me feel upset and disrespected, so I asked him to take the coffee back and left the restaurant immediately. Because of the poor customer service and the unfriendly behavior of the staff, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
