Hi Linda,
How's it going?
Sorry I haven't been in touch for such a long time but I've had exams so I've been studying every free minute. Anyway, I'd love to hear all your news and I'm hoping we can get together soon to catch up. We just moved to a bigger flat so maybe you can come and visit one weekend?
How's the new job?
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Helga
Hi Helga,
I've been meaning to write to you for ages now so don't worry! How did your exams go? When will you know your results? I'm sure you did brilliantly as always!
As for me, I'll have been in the new job three months by the end of next week so I'm feeling more settled in. At first I felt like I had no idea what I was doing but now I realise it's normal to feel like that. There was a lot to learn – there still is actually – and I soon had to get used to the idea that I can't know everything. I used to work late a lot and at weekends but I'm slowly getting into a normal routine.
Which means I'd love to come and visit! We really need a good catch up! I can't believe we haven't seen each other since Carl's wedding. How does next month sound?
Anyway, I'd better get back to work.
Congratulations on the new flat! Can't wait to see you!
Love,
Linda
I use messengers like Whatsapp but I still think the best way to stay in touch is just to phone someone.
Hi Sara,
How's it going? I hope you're doing well.
Sorry I haven't been in touch for such a long time, but I have been very busy working a lot I meant to write you because I knew you just moved to another city. Congratulations! I'm very happy for you. How is that going? Are you having fun with this new experience? Tell me about every detail.
As for me, I recently celebrated my wedding anniversary. It was a great time. Also, I am supposed to move to a new department very soon, and I'm very excited about it. I can't wait to buy all the stuff I need for my new home!
Also, we should definitely catch up soon. Please tell me when you are in the city to meet.
Anyway, that's all for now. Congrats again!
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Love,
Tabatha
A great way to catch up is to take a phone call to friends you haven't seen in a while. And even better- to facetime them or using another type of video calling. A big tips from me is to play virtual games together using the video and keep it in the corner of your computer while you all log into the same online game. In a lot of online games you can choose your opponents, so this is perfect for an online time hanging out.
Even with new technology, writing letters make us express our feelings way better!
I believe the best way to stay in touch with friends we don't see often depends on the age: the young people use especially the social media, but the elderly prefer the more traditional means of communication, above all the smart phones.
That is quite true!
Well, I think that the best way to stay in touch with my friends is take out with them. If this isn’t possible, you can call them twice a week or the times that you want. Thought Internet is a good way to catch up your friends. I like chatting every day with my close friends and repply their images.
I reckon that is important a group study because you can stay more focus and also can learn more from others people. Although some people prefer study by their self because can focus more and also don't waste their time to reach a place. However I prefer study by my self because i know which are my lack and i stay focus on it.
for me the best way to stay in touch with some friends is to have their call number or their media social like facebook or instagram because now everyone is on media social ( excepted a little minoritie of people)to ,but we can try to call them more often to catch up this connection between us.
the pleasure of seeing your platform grow, connect people, and offer valuable content is truly rewarding. Watching your hard work lead to increased engagement, satisfaction, and success brings a deep sense of accomplishment and pride.
