How do I subscribe?

Getting started with LearnEnglish Subscription is easy. Use our secure online payment platform to create your account and select your subscription plan. Online payment is enabled through Stripe. Most credit cards are accepted.

You will receive immediate access to our self-access courses when you create your account and complete your payment.

How do I cancel my subscription?

The LearnEnglish Student Support team will be happy to help with any account or subscription related issues. Login to LearnEnglish and navigate to the My account section and click on Subsctiption and follow the instructions.

Your cancellation will take effect within an hour. We recommend you cancel at least 2 hours before your next billing date. If you cancel near the end of your billing period and are inadvertently charged for the next period’s fee, please contact the LearnEnglish Student Support team to have the charged reversed.

You will not be charged for any future payments. Your account will remain active and you will be able to access your courses until the next billing date. Read our Terms and Conditions of Sale for more details.

What are the technical requirements?

To access your student account and the self-access courses you will need:

  • a computer or mobile phone
  • a reliable Internet connection
  • a speaker and microphone

Please note:

You can use a mobile phone or tablet to access and complete all the activities in our self-access courses. However, our roleplay activites require a modern desktop browser to record your responses. We also recommend that you also do any extended learning from a desktop or laptop computer where possible to ensure you enjoy a positive learning experience.

The courses on our LearnEnglish platform are not accessible using older internet Explorer browsers, so we recommend you use a modern internet browser application that is up-to-date (e.g. Google Chrome or Safari).

How do I access the free resources on LearnEnglish?

Do I need to create an account to access the free resources?

Our free resources can be accessed by all students and there is no need to create an account. Visit our Getting started page to learn more about accessing the free resources on LearnEnglish.

LearnEnglish works best if you are using an up-to-date web browser. If you are having problems, please:

  • try another device (a different computer, tablet or mobile).
