Hi Sergey,

It's difficult to do too much work on speaking through online materials, but there are some things you can do. We have some advice on our help page:

https://learnenglish.britishcouncil.org/en/frequently-asked-questions

The best thing, of course, is to practise and, ideally, to take a course at a good school where you live. You can see the British Councl's centre list here and search by country, but I don't believe we have a teaching centre in your country, unfortunately.

Hi Peter,
I wanted to join to your classes but it said in you couldn`t subscribe because of your country. do have any suggestion?

Hello again bihamta1234,

We've tested this and were able to get to the payment page when we registered as a user whose location was Afghanistan. I would therefore suggest you try again. If you still have trouble with the payment process, please send us a message with a capture of the error message that you get so that we can help you with this.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but I hope this will work!

All the best,

Kirk

Hello bihamta1234,

I'm afraid it is probably something that we have no control over, but I will look into this and get back to you. I won't have an answer until sometime next week.

In the meantime, you might also want to try our Speaking skills section. On any of those pages, or also on the Podcasts pages, I'd also encourage you to choose sentences from the page that you think would be useful in your speaking, either because they are difficult to pronounce or because they could be useful in different conversations.

Practise saying that phrase over and over again until it's easy to say. Check your pronunciation with the recording. Then do the same thing with the other phrases or sentences you've chosen. Do this a couple of times a day for several days, until you can remember and say them all confidently.

Write them down in a notebook and then choose another set of sentences from another listening and follow the same procedure. Gradually, you will build up your speaking fluency and vocabulary, and improve your pronunciation and listening.

Many people find it difficult to do this regularly, but many of our users have reported that this really helped them a lot, so I'd encourage you to give it a try!

All the best,

Kirk

Hello
I would be very grateful,if add an option as control speed on voice. It would very useful.
Thanks

Hello mdaivid,

Thank you for the suggestion. I'm not sure how practical this is, but I will mention it to our technical team for future consideration. You can, of course, use the pause buttonto give yourself more time as you listen.

Thanks so much, I think it helps a lot.

Hello
Thanks a lot for this series of podcast, I will start next series.

FYI this Section 6 is the same as Episode 7's. I think you guys made a mistake.

Hi ClanPsi,

This repetition is on purpose, as it highlights part of the podcasts in this series. But thank you very much for taking the time to tell us about what looked like a mistake. We do make them sometimes and are always grateful when our users point them out to us.

All the best,
Kirk
