Hi panda1997,

The verb leave, as you suggest, is a good option. You can also find others in a thesaurus (which is essentially a dictionary of synonyms and antonyms - there are free ones available on the internet if you search for "thesaurus").

Hello again
I have a question about an exercise of the section of Tom the teacher!in this exercise you have to choose if the sentence is true or not and for this sentence "we'd rather pay by credit card than pay cash" they said that it's not correct and for me it was correct, so what is the correct form for this sentence and why?
Thanks in adv

Hello saranko,

Well spotted and thank you for bringing this to our attention.  It seems the wrong answer was entered into the exercise key.  The exercise has been edited and the correct answer added.

Best wishes and thanks again,

Hi tientuu1412,

Have you looked up these two words in the dictionary (see the search box on the right)? The two nouns both separate spaces, but are made of different materials.

Best wishes,

Hi, everyone! I'd like to talk about my home town. I was born in Saint-Petersburg. In common parlance citizen call it as Peter (Russian: [ˈpʲitʲɪr]). Saint Petersburg was the Imperial capital of Russia. Saint Petersburg was founded by the Tsar Peter the Great on May 27 in 1703. Saint Petersburg is a major European cultural center, and also an important Russian port on the Baltic Sea. It's a lovely fantastic beautiful place. There are many magnificent palace, museum, theater and antique building. The most beautiful season is early summer, on June. There are White nights in this time. It's beautiful and magic view. And a fantastic nightlife in this period. There are lots of great place to go at the weekend. Many restaurants, cafe, pubs and other place for rest. I love my city!
