Hi!
Tess and Ravi.

I'm Afraa. I'm form Burma. Concerned with this question. My opinion is celebrities work for the charity is good thing. Because they have lots of money, charities need money to survive. Either they wants to famous or they wants to help with their kinded-mind. that's my simple thought :).

Thanks for yor show. Now, I think my english is a little bit improve.

Hey Tess! You are very pretty.

hello everybody, I don't know if this is the right page, however I have some doubts about the follows sentences:
1)some information proved to be outdated.
2)many a student has passed through these doors.
after some shouldn't be a plural nouns? in the second one shouldn't be correct"many students..."

Hello manuel24,

After 'some' we use a plural noun if it is countable and a singular noun if it is uncountable. Thus we say:

some apples, some people, some books (all countable nouns)

some time, some money, some happiness (all uncountable nouns)

The word 'information' is uncountable and so the singular form is used.

When we use 'many' the noun is generally plural. However, the phrase 'many a...' is used with a singular noun. It is an unusual form, best learned as a fixed expression: [many a + singular noun].

Best wishes,

Peter

Hello! I'm from Indonesia. I haven't do any research to find out if many of our people have pets or not, but I do love pet, especially cat (you can say I'm a catperson).

Hi, i live in Nigeria. Not many people in my country are crazy about pets. The most common pets people keep, those in middle class group is the dog. They can afford the feeding and medical expenses for the dog in return for providing a bit of security Some ethnic groups eat dog meat. A few keep cats to keep away rodents from the homes. There are no animal rights groups in my country.Oftentimes, stray dogs or animals get knocked down on most motor able roads either by cars or motor bike. i don't keep pets because i have the smell of animals.

hi!

I´m from Mexico, and the most common pets are dogs and cats.

I have 2 big and lovely dogs at home. And I love them! I think that dogs are the most clever, beauiful and sweet animal that you can have as a pet. And also, they notice when you feel bad or sad and somehow they try to make you notice that they are by your side and make you feel better.

It was a nice topic, I hope you keep doing this, because this are the things are help us improve and practice our english and also share our oppinions with some other people around the world. Thanks and congratulations for the big labor that you are doing =)

In my country, the most of families have pets like dogs, birds and cats. The dogs are looked after as persons, even they are carried to the other dogs birthday's party. The dogs are the best friend,
