Good afternoon. I think that british people are the same as other people from other countries if we talk about animals. In nowadays people love animals and more and more people want to have a pet at home. Im my country I think there is a proucent quite high of people who has an animal in the house or around their house. Usualy people have dogs and cats as a pet but it's possible to have more than that. I my childhood I used to have a lizard as a pet and a lot of kids around me had the same. So I think now people had more than a dog and a cat as a pet.
And when I was teenager I used to have a dog but it was to tough to look after him so my parents have decides to moved my dog to the countryside. And I think it was the best choices for my pet. I don't think is a good way to have a dog in a big city.

I learned how British people look after their pets They are crazy about animals.

Animals are so cute.I love them so much. If I have been to britain, i'll take so many photos with animals there. I believe Tess and Ravi said is true because Britain that is a modern country. Therefore, the people have got modern thinking. That's why they've behaved kindly towards animals like that.
I used to have a dog. However, she was dead when I was a little girl. Although that one happened a long time ago, I never forget it. I really miss her and love her so much. she is great dog in my mind.
Thank you so much indeed...because information all is in this video which helps me to open my mind and know more things in Britain.

I found this sit today by a chance. I liked this British Council site for learning English. Lot of relevant material is available.
I liked this podcast about pets. I love pets. The problem with pets like dog is that their lifespan is short about 12 to15 years only. When they die their owners feel very sad.
I am from India. People like to have a dog as pet and they generally don't like to have a cat as a pet. There are many stray dogs and stray cats. Very few people like them or treat them well. These stray animals are very tough and can survive in difficult environment.
Any comments?

Hi! I love studying English and this website is fantastic ! Thanks a lot for this opportunity !
I have a little black kat! He is so cut! Good luck to everyone!

Hello Everyone,

I love pets also I have a dog, his name is Biber(Pepper). I live in Turkey, there are many homeless pets in my country. Turkish people have dogs and cats in general. Unusual pets are little or no. If I have been in Britain, I agreed with Tess and Ravi.

Thank you.

Hi there! I am from Bulgaria. One of the most common problem in my country are homeless animals. Unfortunately many people leave their pets especially dogs and no one takes care of them. Also there aren't many home for the dogs and they just live on the streets. Don't do this mistake. Every creature deserve to be loved

This site is very useful and user friendly. My interest to learn English has increased after i completed this activity

Hallo,
I am from Germany, I love animals, especially dogs, but I haven't got pets. Maybe I would have a dog in the future. I think also having pets can be an amaizing experience, but also think that pets need a lot of care. At the moment I am living in an appartment and I don't think is a good idea to have a dogs or cats if your house don't have a yard. I 've never been in Britain and I couldn't imagine how it could be to see people taking thair pets/reptiles out for the walk. I could tell, that I think, that the most popular pets are dogs in Germany,
