Magda: Well, I had some good news...
that's what Magda said in the first so why she didn't said :
i have some good news instead of i had some good news

Hello farahat91,
'Have' is a verb which can have a number of meanings.  It can mean 'possess' ('I have a dog'), eat ('I have breakfast'), drink ('I have a coffee') and many other things.  When used with 'news' it can also mean 'get' or 'receive'.  Because of this, both sentences are possible:
'I have some good news' = I have it now and can share it with you.
'I had some good news (today)' = I received some good news today.
I hope that clarifies it for you.
Best wishes,

The dialogues are good, but do you have an idea how to practice to speak?

Hello Dmitri!
Glad you found the dialogues useful!
Speaking is more difficult to improve on our website. If you can, consider taking a class. Practising your English with no-one around can be tricky, but here are a few suggestions.

  • Use the comments section here to practice grammar and vocabulary. It's writing, but still useful.
  • Try to record yourself. Choose some of the discussion questions and go to a site like, record your answers,  and playback your recording – what mistakes did you make? What do you like about your answer?
  • Keep listening to our recordings. One of the best ways to improve speaking... is listening!
  • Finally, remember you don't have to have a native speaker to talk to. Maybe a friend or colleague wants to talk English – ask around, and find someone who wants to practice.

Good luck, and keep working on it!

I think get a job in our country is pleasant because we can live together with our family. Getting a job in a board is a great experience, we can have new family and new friends from other culture. But, it is just for a while. However live in our home is more pleasant than others home.

i am interesting to improve my english.
