Hello Teachers,
Excuse me, I think that there is one Number mistaken in the transcipt. On 1:57 in the video, I have tried to listen many times and look at the mouth of the woman, I think that the Number is 1.25 million, not 1.35 million.
Thank you so much.

Hello teachers,
First of all, if I heard well there is one word missed out in transcript but it has been placed in the video. "... we carry on average 1.35 million passengers A YEAR on our boats." That is found on 1:59 in the video.

Second, when Ms Jacqui says "...Windermere Lake Cruises is one of the top tourist attractions in the north-west of England so when you come to this area, come and cruise on the lake, definitely - it must be done!" What does she mean with the phrase "It must be done" If I realised from context, she meant that it means something like "that is it" or "that is something you always wanted" or "that is perfect" or something like that. If I am completely wrong could you please explain me a bit about it?

The last one question is about phrase "I am WILD about Windermere, but what about Wales?" Please, what is the meaning of the word wild here? When I checked in the dictionary I couldn't find appropriate meaning, moreover I don't know is it an adjective or a noun in this sentence.

Thank you in advance

Hello andeo,

You are correct about the missing words. Thank you for pointing this out. I have corrected the transcript.

The phrase 'it must be done' here means 'it is so good that everyone should do it'. It's a way of emphasising advice or suggestions. For example, if you are recommending a restaurant then you might say 'You really must go'.

'Wild about' means 'very enthusiastic about'. Again, it's a way of emphasising a strong feeling.

Best wishes,

Hello. This is very great place to visit and relax. I love countryside because I grew up in the countryside in my country, Laos. But everything is definitely different.
I have some questions about vocabularies in this video; How different meaning between
'varied' and 'different', 'stunning' and 'beautiful', 'harbour' and 'pier'. If there are similar meanings, could I use the same situations. Again, could you explain the word 'appealing'. Is it similar to interesting.
Thank you very much for helping to improve my English skill.

I prefer living in the city. But the England countryside may change my preference, I confess. It's inspiring.

I wonder why the title to be C. "a visit to some British varied landscapes". I thought it would be B. Is it because Richard refers to Wales national park in the video? Thank you for your help.

I learnt at school about Lake District, but I have never had the chance to visit it. It is amazing how many tourists come here, I wasn't aware of this. This way of learning about a country through watching films is really great.

I enjoyed seeing this video of (from my opinion ) a visit to Lake Windermere .I realized that how beautiful is Great Britain .I love a Countryside rich in green hills , flowers, birds ,and fresh ocean breath .All places I have seen in the video interested me .For me Countrysides are best places to live .
