Hello Mandon,

You should be able to click anywhere in the video player, which is between the green 'Preparation' bar and the 'Watch the video' title. If you cannot see the video player at all then it probably means that you have a compatibility issue with your device or browser. You can try accessing the site on a different device or browser to see if this solves the problem for you.

Hello Subroto Khan,

Thanks very much for your comment! We're of course very glad to hear you find LearnEnglish so useful. I'd recommend you browse through our Listen & Watch section, where you can find similar resources. Word on the Street and Elementary Podcasts are particularly popular, so if you're not sure where to start, try one of them.

Hello, this may not concern at all, but I really need your help. I went to My Class last night and took some notes but i think i really mistook something.
"I READ THAT RECENT STUDIES that some people who are regularly screened for cancer have undergone unnecessary surgery"
It sounds weird. Can you tell me if it is wrong and tell me how i can correct it, please?
Thank you :D

Hello triettran97,

That sentence is not quite correct and there are several ways in which it might be phrased. The two most likely, I would say, are:

I read in some recent studies that some people who are regularly screened for cancer have undergone unnecessary surgery.

Recent studies have shown/suggested that some people who are regularly screened for cancer have undergone unnecessary surgery.

Best wishes,

Peter
