hello sir,
Great video to improve our English. I have a problem with listening and spoken English. I have a question....
what is meaning of "I er" in this video

Hello Tanzeel Ur Rehman,

I'm glad you enjoyed the video! 'er' is the sound that native speakers make when they are thinking about what to say next -- you can see some more examples in the Cambridge Dictionary entry for 'er'.

All the best,

good video...thanks a lot

Could somebody recommend me radio news to British English, please?

Hello jannis,

A good source for British radio is the BBC ( There are many stations available with Radio 4 and Radio 5 having less music and more discussion. Many programmes are archived, so you can listen to them whenever you like. You can also subscribe to many podcasts on your phone or computer, if your wish.

Best wishes,

Hi everyone, Its great to know the differences between American English and British English.

what is difference between British English Language and American English Language

Hello Nizam,

The video on this page focuses on some differences in vocabulary, but there can also be differences in other areas such as spelling and pronunciation. Still, the English and the American varieties of English have much more in common than they do not.

There is a Wikipedia entry on this topic as well as another video at the Voice of America that give more information on the topic if you're interested.

ı have a question.
I couldn't hear the part, written upper case in the dialogue below,
Man: Yeah, I picked up some of the American words, AND NOW I FORGET which ones to use! So confusing!
Because I have doubt, could you please confirm that the transcript and speech on the video matches precisely? Thank you.

Hello LearnEnglish2016,

The man does indeed say 'and now I forget', albeit very quickly. It's great that you listen to the recordings this closely!

All the best,
