Great video!Thank you people for this, and it would be great if you could make more videos like this one(on this subject). All the best

Hello stelarossa,

Thanks for your feedback! There is one other video on LearnEnglish that deals with this topic – it's the first video in the History chapter of Word on the Street – plus a page in our Grammar & Vocabulary section. You can find these by using the search facility – see the small loupe at the top right of the screen.

All the best,

I have a fear to learn the twice terms in the same time. I think it's confused and in the moment, i can't speak both the USA as for UK.

Hello jorgelpiva,

I wouldn't worry about this too much. Americans and Brits have no trouble at all communicating with each other; in very rare cases, they might get confused about something small, but overall there are no problems due to their different ways of speaking. By the way, there's more on this topic in the History chapter of Word on the Street.

Best wishes,

I have been taught in English since primary school but I have always not found the courage to talk to people freely in english. I always fear I might make a mistake. I always struggle to find the right word to use to describe what I want to say when talking to people in English. This has become a great source of worry to me since I work in an environment that requires me to do health education to a large number of people. Am also always cobfused about how to pronounce some words. Am about loosing interest in the work I do because of this problem, please help me improve my oral english. Thanks

Hello Ama Wiafe,

There's some advice on how to use LearnEnglish to help you improve your speaking on our Frequently Asked Questions page. Obviously, I don't know you, but it sounds to me like what you experience is quite normal, so I'd encourage you to keep speaking and keep trying – with patience, practice and deep breaths I'm sure you can improve!

All the best,
The LearnEnglish Team

This video is learnable. Thanks give to media.

The video is frozen for me, can someone tell me why? thanks, where can I donwload the video?

Hello Cindy_wen,

I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems watching the video. The most likely cause of this is a local compatibility issue, especially if you ae using a phone or tablet to access the site. Please try using a different device - a laptop or desktop computer - to see if this solves the problem for you.

The videos on LearnEnglish are not available for download, I'm afraid. You can download the audio files of many of our recordings, however, but not the video episodes.

Best wishes,

The LearnEnglish Team
