It would be a great idea and every celebrity would work with charity too. So it would be a fair way for everyone to live well and with human equality! Although this is a job far beyond and the government must be ahead to do decent work with people who need help!

I think , it's ok to use celebrities to bring mony to charity , even if they not feel the poor people situation exactly .
We should look to the final result .

in my opinion, in each celebrity, if we take a part of the whole money and turns it to charities we can decrease the poverty.

Gamal Abd El-Nasser style :D

i would like to speak charity, fame and celebrity raising fund issue.
i don't care celebrities want to gain more fame and publicity, but i focus that could a teeny tiny money help poor and change their life style. i don't think so.
furthermore, when we addressing the problem of social economic stratification we see in a simple and ridiculous way.
charity and fund raising would not lessen poverty, so instead celebrity focusing the poor people, it has to focus what have been caused poverty.

I would say it is a good thing for the celebrities to do work for charity. Because the people in need will benefit from the stars' behavior, they could get money or some aids from the charities. However, in the long term this would not help to reduce poverty. Relieving poverty is a systematic project which need more support from the government rather than individuals and/or organizations. To address the root cause of poverty and reduce the gap between rich and poor is much more essential.

I would like to speak about celebrities and charity
(it is not easy to solve the peoples problems and to put an end for the poverty
it requires out reach in their needs
and the best way to do this is to support the governments and stakeholders to help them
and I can ask ..why the poorness and displacement are increasing day by day?

I believe that charity is a problem because it loses the perspective of social justice and equality. Our societies are built-in inequality that characterizes capitalism and it makes that poverty remains existing while 1% of people detain more than 90% of the world´s wealth. So, we need to overcome the idea that charity is enough, everybody needs to raise their voices for a better world. So, just donate some money and use it as a marketing strategy is the white savior syndrome.

A good and useful episode

My opinion about celebrities doing charity work :
this is a good deed regardless of their intentions . they help the poor

Yes. It's a good idea. My opinion on this, is that since it's possible for anyone to do work for charities which is a matter of choice, then while not celebrities too. They can likewise supports charities at wish.
