I'm really wondering about Ravi. How did he manage to watch ten hours DVDs while suffering from a really bad cold and headache...

Hi Guys,

I think, Everybody have missed me. Finally I am here again.

I don't like read book. I was reading book the Robın Hood story when I was at primary school. I had read a year just three pages. I started read and I gave up after a page. I looking for good book. I haven't found any book. You can give some recommendation me for read a book. Really I want to read. I can watch films and tv series forever. I like movie kind of science fiction, action and thriller. Kyrie Eleison. good night. Don't worry be happy like Bob Marley:)

Hello! I prefer reading books to watching movies. Neither film has not yet surpassed the book. And each film Director has his own interpretation of the artwork. One will think one important, another-another.

it depands i pefer read books what is have a good story you can feel what you read, but movie it is most of time make me like i live the story and i am one of them.

Not always a book may be better than a film I think. It depends. If it’s a really talented author, a book will be really interesting and fascinated because good authors can describe the story so well that it seems very realistic. When you read that book, you just dismiss the text, it passes you rapidly in front of your eyes. You’re so involved by reading. Compared to film, you can take a book and go somewhere, to a park or a beach for example to read.
It to speak of films, who refuses from a really good one. Here is the same situation like with books. If it’s a good and talented producer like James Cameron or Steven Spielberg, films that they made are marvelous. When you are at the cinema watching that film you get loads of stuff. You can see characters with their emotions and how they act, places, sound effects, well-selected sound tracks and stuff by your own.

Well I'm also like to meet Bob Marley. Inspite of his good songs he's one of those who make a new religion Rastamania. I've seen how people live in Jamaica on TV. There are rastamans there who're very friendly to others. Despite Jamaica is not so rich and developed country, people there are happy. Is it influence of Bob Marley? I think he's more than just a musician.

I'd say I prefer dogs more than cats so that dogs are more moving. You can take a walk with a dog as well as play with it. They're also more interesting because you can teach them by taking different commands.
Cats are usually sleep all the time. Though, when they're kitties yet they like lots of playing.

It really depends on the book.

It depends on the book or on the movie. If it is a romantic story, I will prefer books because is more interesting than movies, but if it is a story with more action I will prefer movies because I think that in this case the story will be more exciting due to effects and it creates more suspense. When I was teenager and a child I loved books, all the books but now I love watching movies aswell, but not all ( I hate science fiction movie). Sorry British Council because I am sure I have a lots of mistakes when I write a comment. Is it a good way to improve my english even if sometimes I write wrong sentences?

Hello Irina07,

Correction is very helpful when learning a language but it is not the only thing we need. Just communicating in a language and practising expressing different ideas is very important. Many people learn languages without any formal correction. In fact, research suggests that when children are learning their first language, it actually goes more slowly if their parents correct their mistakes.

We have all had the experience of communicating with people whose language is not perfect. Often, grammar or vocabulary errors are less problematic than problems with fluency. It is very difficult to communicate with someone who hesitates a great deal, for example. Practising the phrases you need to express yourself on different topics and in different ways is very important.
