Hello. This podcast is very interesting, like many others. I like that all of us learn many english words, phrases...but we find out many things which were't familiar to us. For example, I didn't know much about Muhammed Yunus and his bank. "False friends" are interesting as well. I know some Italian words which are false friends. For example, Italian word caldo means hot, but English word  cold has opposite meaning of hot. Also, Italian word la curva which means curve on English  is prostitute on Serbian language. So in the last example, we have one true and one false friend. And at the and, I must to say that my favourite part of podcast is Tom's part. I like it, because he explain many things which I don't notice while I read podcast. He is very good teacher. Thanks a lot. Regards.

I'm trying every day to get ready for an interview in an english school to get a job. so , I decided to start it , as soon as I can I listen the podcasts and the big city small world and also I do the exercises. In my oppinion it helps a lot!

Hi everybody. I want to tell that traveling by cycle is fabulous. I started drive cycle when I was 15 years old. It was extremly good. Imagine that you driving on a desert road through a rocks, and wind flow to your face and the weater is warm. And you're driving to the lake to get swimming. It was in Turkmenistan, but those time are gone, now I'm 29 and I live in crowded and poluted Moscow. I have a car and I don't love it, because the roads are very busy and the wether is very cold. And some times I'm imaging that I in my childhood again, driving anywhere to explore places where I never benn.

I think my favourite way of travelling is by car, because I don't have to keep scheduled time.
I am a plenty of freedom to go whenever I like.
If I wish, I could spent all day travelling for where I like.

The best way for me to travel is by boat, because you're completely isolated from the rest of the world, and I like that, also I feel safer in a boat than anywhere else because not everybody can get there. And I also find it's very romantic and peaceful.'s a lame joke??

the joke is just great!!! I'm not gonna explain it. some people like and understand this kinds of joks and some of them don't. Gordon sounds like a little exited kid while he's telling jokes... but he's a little bit older i gues ;)

I don't understand the joke too can anybody explain it to me please

Dear Muron,
don't worry, you are not alone. The Gorden's joke isn't funny at all. :-) So, learn English and don't worry.

Dear everyone
I am Japanese.

I don't understand Gordon's joke "That wouldn't make any sense at all ?".
Tell me wherever the joke is funny.
