Hello Sergus Magnus,

It really depends on the context. Here Carolina is among friends and I don't see anything wrong with using these phrases here. In any case, if you say 'I'm sorry, but' just before 'I don't understand', this will make it sound better to many native speakers' ears.

Hello Omer Gul,

Have you looked at our Help page? You can find suggestions and tips there. As you'll see in the information on that page, the answer to your question will depend upon the kind of writing you need to do. What kid of writing do you wish to improve? If you can be more specific then it will be easier for us to give you some suggestions.

The best thing on TV for me are the criminology programs and documentaries based on real life about people and their life experiences, though that make me feel very unhappy sometimes. The worst thing are football matches. They are boring and make the people discuss and fight each other. I don´t like them.
I do apologize to you all for my mistakes grammar. My english isn't still quite good. Best regards!

Hi teacher,

In this episode Ravi says "He says if people know you will take

money to say you like something then they can’t trust you..." Could he say "He says if people know

you take money to say you like something then they won't be able to trust you...." I don't

understand quite well the use of the auxiliary "will"

Thanks a lot!

Hi ssoniacs,

We often use 'will' to refer to a future action, but the core meaning is connected to choice or volition. We can see that in this sentence, where 'If people know you will take money to...' means 'If people know you are willing to take money to...' In other words, 'will' here refers to your choice rather than future time.

Best wishes,

Thank you very much Peter!
I'm very excited with your Website, it's really fantastic!

My favoutite programs in TV are films and the matches what plays my team Valencia CF,I'm spanish from Spain. Also I like a lot some TV series like The Soprano's or House

The traditional Christmas food in Brazil is turkey, glam, mayonnaise, rice (without beans, which is not so traditional in Brazil day by day), then panettone and mousse. To drink, we've got wine or soft drink.

The best thing on TV, in my opinion, is "Doctor Who". It's my favourite serie on TV. The BBC makes greats series to TV. Here in Brazil, "Doctor Who" is passing on "TV Cultura" (in english that means Culture TV).

If i cometed any mistake in english, please, tell me.
