Hello, this is exercises help me a lot

I'm learnig a lot of new words

I'm a listener of this podcast. In the first lesson ,you said making word groups will help you to remeber new words easily.Could you please recommend such word groups?

Hello Parvathy Das,

The idea here is to learn words with other words that they commonly go with. For example, let's say you're learning the word 'friend'. There are many different words that are often used with the word 'friend', e.g. adjectives such as 'close', 'best', 'old' or verbs such as 'make' or 'lose'. It's generally a good idea to learn these words together, as our memory works well with such associations and also because some of the words that are common in English might seem strange in your native language(s) because they are different - learning these 'strange' uses will make your English much more natural-sounding and also help you understand what you read and hear better.

I'd recommend you keep a vocabulary notebook in which you record all of your work like this. It takes time and effort, but the vast majority of people who keep vocabulary notebooks and who study them learn much more effectively.

Good luck!

All the best,
Kirk

Hello everyone,

I'm liking so much this serie, it is helping a lot improve my English. I have sure that will learn a lot here in this website. I study English about six months but one day I will speak and write English very well.

Thank you!

Hello,

I love 'I'd like to meet" this section quite much, it doesn't only teach me English, also makes me know much more about the world. Me as a Chinese, the famous people I knew, such as TV presenters, fIlm stars, cartoon characters .......are different as who you have mentioned. It is so interesting to see the differecens, and the person you introduced are really fascinated. Thanks a lot for all your work :)
