Tom’s tip for speaking about birthdays: In social terms, when a child becomes an adult, they stop wanting to have presents on their birthdays. This, of course, is not true. But it does mean that we have to pretend that we don't want presents, and when we give them, we have to make them look not very important.

I lovev syrian food... It's special and varied....

I haven't eaten food of another country. I eat my own country food; Myanmar food and as I'm Chinese, I also eat Chinese food. from these two except, I haven't eaten any other food. I like the food that I'm eating.

I think there are a lots of mistakes in the Check Your Understanding.

yes, i think so. I was surprised, normally is three answers, this time is just one. However, the answers dont match with what they say in the podcast.

Hello KYAW HTET AUNG,

We check our answers carefully before we publish any exercises, so I would be surprised if there are many mistkes. However, we are only human and we're certainly not perfect, so if you think you have found an error in the answers then please let us know and we'll be happy to check it.

Absolutely my country's food is best for me. I really love my country's food. For example Baklava,Kebap, Mantı... But if I wanna chose country foods without my contry's food, it would be Italian foods. I want to try another countries's food too. I curious about the Mexican's food. One day, I will try it.

Hello dears,
My favourite food is a typical food of the state that I live and it is called "Moqueca de Peixe". This food is cooked with fresh fish and a lot of ingredients. My mother cooks this food with frequency in our home. It really has a good flavor.

I really like, very much, the food's Brazilian. Because there a lot of variety to ingredients and flavor. Between the food's Brazilian, I always choose The "Feijoada". This food is cooking with black beans and peace of the pork. Hum!!! This one is delicious... I loved to eat this one. I recommend everybody to eat this...

Actually, i like my country's food, but my favourite is Britishs' food in the sense that their cuisines are hygienic and rich in nutritional values as well as components.
I agrees to what they said, since everyone has a choice and taste.
British food happens to be my favourite food.

My favorite food is Italian and Indian, I love pasta for Italian food , but I like masala with rice and tandoori bread for Indian food, but the masala should little spicy. actually if i'm hungry i eat any thing
