Hi, everybody,
I think that the ways to say "hello" to our friends are typical signs of each culture.
In Sicily, for example, we use very often to say "hello" with large hugs and affectionate kisses, like if we don't see our friends since a long time... but also if we have seen them just yesterday, we'll say "hello" them in the same way! I think that South people are often more passionate than North people! :o)
Anyway it's always really beautiful to meet people and greet each other!

Hello Everybody!!!
Please tell us which country or city you from while you describe greetings in this country. For example: In Russia we often shake hands when we want to be formal, but also we can just say Hello. In informal way we sometimes shake hands, and if you met your friend who was absent for a long time we hug each other and if she women or relative I even can kiss on cheek.
Ok. Thank you all.
Adam please make comments about my grammar and language. I realy want to know how it looks like?

Hello Oleg,
I'm afraid that all of us on the LearnEnglish team are very busy replying to comments, creating new content, fixing problems etc. and we don't have time to assess everyone's English.
Your English is very clear, although you make a few minor mistakes.
Best wishes,
The LearnEnglish
