Hi Karolina.. let's learn together..

Oh my God, it’s so helpful that I’ve found your website. I have a problem concerned with English listening and only on your Series I understand almost everything.

All sales are horrible stress I should say. Let me share my extreme experience of ticket’s buying for the listening the main female voice of Greece in the end of Athens’s festival in the main Greek theatre just in the day of the concert.

I’ve arrived to the office of the theatre and asked whether I can have a pair of tickets. Ticket’s seller looked at me as on a person suffering from mental health problems and said that all tickets are sold very long time ago and amphitheatre expected to be overcrowded.

_Really there is no one ticket in the amphitheatre of 5000 seats capacity? I arrived from Moscow – I specified for an unknown purpose.
_ You can try to come back to the office at 6 o’clock or later. Who knows maybe somebody will refuse from tickets just before the concert?- that was an advice of the seller.

So, people of different races, nationalities and English level but with the common thirst for canceled ticket’s orders created a crowd looked like a middle size demonstration against EU creditors.

I was the 1st in this crowd. And yes, I’ve got two tickets. And it was unforgettable concert. All 5000 people in the amphitheatre were weeping in the end of the concert. Can you imagine it? I can. But I would never like to have such a stress I experienced before this concert again.

It is much better to use internet booking instead\ maybe not so exciting but more comfortable, no doubts.

Hi everyone!

How are you?

I's unthinkable how many taxes we've paid when go to shop in Brazil, making a long story short, I've just felt more than satisfied when I shop a product on internet like website these products have been really cheap. Such as around the world the biggest sales in Brazil happen on January because of the New year's eve shopping, although I always wait for black Friday when prices go crazy.

Best wishes,

Caio Carvalho

Hi!This webside is a WONDER from god! Thanks for your help to recover the English!

Hi, I relly appreciate for your knowledge sharing with us. I am a big fan of this podcast. I haven't missed any episodes from beginning. Something confuses me though. What do you think about the degree of difficulty among series. I mean the first series of this podcats is much more difficult than the other series. As episodes go, it should be more challanging but not. Am i wrong?

Hello sssedrik,

You're right – in general, series 1 has the highest level and they get easier from there. This is not how it was intended in the beginning, but we saw a greater need for materials that were more accessible to lower levels and decided to go in that direction. If you haven't already, you might want to try other sections in Listen & Watch, e.g. Big City Small World or Word on the Street, as these are generally at a higher level.

Best wishes,
The LearnEnglish Team

Hi sssedrik,

I believe that you can download Big City Small World episodes as a series of podcasts to play in iTunes from the iTunes store – follow the link on our iTunes U page to see what is available.
