BBC is very famous for its quality because there more and more people like using it and trust it. And I am not the exception, I downloaded BBC app and listen to it everyday if I have time. There is a variety of news about different fields such as sports, entertainment, science, etc. The voices of BBC are clearly so I can understand what they we're saying and it's also a good place for us to read the news from all around the world.

Good morning.
Yes I think the BBC is one of the best place where we can get news, I know BBC since I was a child even though I used to listen hardly ever. But people around me used to watch BBC and speak about it as a very good thing. Then when I grew up I start to watch BBC to check that the news are true or not , and al the nwes it was real and without fiction like the news in my country.
Unfortunately now I don't have access to BBC here where I live, if I had it was really useful for me to get information from all over the world and to improve my English of course. But I'm pleased with all this national TV stations, because it helps me to learn the language of this country.
And I'm still lucky because I can get the BBC radio, and I listen every night for half an hour to improve my English, even sometimes I don't understand all the meaning.
I can say that this is my favorite broadcasting, and about the tv I don't watch to much just sometimes, or when my wife wants to see something on TV and I'm around the room of course I'm join her and we watching together.
Most of the time I'm watching online movies, and I try to find english movie with subtitle in English

can I know what is the different between (true) and (truth) .

Hello BaSabeena,

These are different parts of speech. 'True' is an adjective and 'truth' is a noun.

Of course I know the BBC website, the one I have started to improve my English language through it,but now I like the british council site more especially here in the podcast.

Yes, I know the BBC. I think the BBC is one of the most favorite and biggest means of communication in the world. I was listening BBC radio sometimes, when I was study at university. Nowadays, I watch BBC programmes very rarely times. Also I use the BBC website sometime. I decide that I'm going to watch one the full dramas of the BBC for improve my listening of English.

its good to know this site, thanks

Can you tell me the difference between 'owing to' and on account of'? Thanks!

Hello greenstar,

In general, there is no real difference. If you have a specific context in mind then there may be a distinction, but in general I would say that they are interchangeable.
