I think that listen bbc radio is a great method for improve my listen skill although I don't understand most of the thinks that says in the news hahaha . But I think that's don't care , some day I will understand all the thinks that says in the bbc news.

I often listen to Persian BBC news. I enjoy that and some times I watch documentary films, they are excellent. Recently I joined to BBC telegram channel and every day I got some news by this channel.

Hello i agred that the BBC is one the most powerful stadion in the isn't a propagander Chanel. It's independent and gives real news.I use to listen each News and learn English whith the BBC learn English App befor. But since i discover the elementary pod cast app i forgot about the BBC.

I actually don't watch news regularly. But I know about BBC, like Tess and Ravi said,it is relatively fair and independent. By that BBC got its reputation throughout the world. Then again BBC isn't perfect as Adam commented. For instance , from the stories I know , early in 2008, BBC cited a report about Tibetan issues which really offend lots of patriot in Chinese communities either domestic or abroad. But for the most of the time, Chinese people love it, because most of our newspaper and media resources are paid by government , We don't even have speech freedom here. So we can only get the access of high quality news from BBC in HongKong station sometimes. And you know , we can't talk political opinions here in our wonderful website. So I'm going to stop here. But it really is a tremendous work to have a great broadcast corporation running nowadays.

I am a lover of the BBC , I live in Colombia and since My biology teacher told me about BBC i have tried to use it as much as I can, I love the documentaries, there is nothing better than lay in the bed with popcorns and watch some BBC movie or documentary, I love for the science and the incredible thing you can learn from that, not only English but science and natural things. I love it. I also have almost all the app from the BBC in my iPad, and the first thing that I make when I wake up is to play my radio in the BBC WORLD SERVICE, even if I don't understand a lot. BBC have been a really useful tool to learn English and improve my knowledge.

Hi sir, can I be clarified on why past tense are used in some sentences?
