Hi everyone!
I haven't watched Serlock Holmes yet. But i remember i watched only first episode of this series. I liked it. but i am a fan of Dr. House. I love the way he knows everything logically and the way he treats everyone :)

Oh/ I like films of Dr. House too very much. I have watch all seasons many time)) I hope some time I'll watch in English

I heard on the grapevine that Sherlock Holmes was very famous all around the world. However, I haven't watched it because detective films are not my favourite.

Good afternoon for everybody.
I like Sherlock Holmes I used to watch some version, from few years ago but I stopped because it has appeared modern series named Doctor House, for me this version it was much more interesting.
And about writers I didn't read any book about crime but now I would like to read since Ravi and Tess gave me the interest about all the writers of books on crimes. It was for the first time when I have learned something about those writers.
I think I will start to read one about Sherlock Holmes although I know it will be really tough for me to read in English but one more time this will be a really good thing for me to improve my English, maybe up to the end the book, I will start to read in English much better than now.
Now I watch at a series movie called Death in Paradise, this movie is from the BBC and is about the crimes but in easy way.
The main character is a man that solve all the crimes like Sherlock Holmes, he uses tiny clues to solve the problem in the island. The movie action is on an island in the ocean, a small one with just a few people on it. And in this movie you can see wonderful landscapes and exotic trees.
The atmosphere there is like a holidays.
I like this movie, it makes me to be relaxed through see all that wonderful views

do you Recommended to study the series in the order( series 01-02 ecc..) or depending on the levev(a2-b1 ecc..) ?

Hello salvatore82,

All the episodes in all four series have two segments in common: 1) Carolina and 2) Tess & Ravi's conversations. Carolina's story begins in Series 1 and continues through the end of Series 4, so if you're interested in her story, it makes the most sense to begin with Series 1. If you're not so interested in following her story, then you can listen to them in any order you'd like. Generally speaking, Series 1 and 2 are a little bit more advanced than Series 3 and 4 in terms of grammar and vocabulary, so that might influence where you start. If you still don't know what to do, I'd suggest trying Series 1 first. If you find it difficult, then you could skip ahead to Series 3.

I hope you enjoy listening to the podcasts!

All the best,
