I've never seen a Shakespeare play but I've watched the old film Rome and Juliette directed by Franco Zefirelli in 1968. And I also have watched two film versions of Hamlet, one of them with Lawrence Olivier (on tv) and the other one with Kenneth Branagh.
I'm 65 years old and I love to study english!

Hello ji bhagwan,

There are a lot of events related to Shakespeare happening around the world this year. If you live near a British Council Centre in India, I'd suggest checking with them, as they are likely sponsoring some events that might be of interest to you.

All the best,

To begin with,I have read Hamlet,and I am really fond of it;secondly,I am a student,so I don't get a job.Finally,what's a pity,I haven't visit any birthplace of any famous writer or artist.

Firstly,I have watched the Chinese version of Hamlet, its an adapted movie base on the hamlet play . they didn't changed the story line , but they add some ancient chinese dancings in it . the movie is called , what I enjoyed the most of it was the music and the atmosphere they created . the tone of the movie is quite sad . and it had reveal the corruption of ancient dynasty along with the love between the empress, the prince and the servent girl.
Secondly, I don't have a job that different from what people expected , because all the works that I did were so simple and easy , for instances , restaurant server , deli clerk, food runner , busboy . low pay and low education required. people wouldn't even think about it .
Thirdly , I have never been to any artist's or writer's house , even if I living in new York , I only going back and forth from home to work . as simple as that.

is this Shakespeare courses same as the one on futurelearn ?
