Well, there are many so-called ‘successful businessmen’ in my country. I mean unfortunately most of them are corrupted politics who probably think they have two lives, but I guess it’s not for me to judge and that’s because I’m pretty busy with living my own and only one.
I think that starting a business is a pretty hard thing to do especially in another country. At first the one should have a reasonable plan, then a decent initial capital or enough guts to do it on credit, and at last some reliable or at least semi-reliable connections. It’s all about taking risks, you know.

Hello, The LearnEnglish Team!
There's a misprint in the following sentence: 'Duncan has also come become something of a TV celebrity and I can’t wait to meet him.' (Transcript)
Best regards,

Hello Dima,

Ooh! It is great fun to watch Dragon's Den, to see candidates and entrepreneurs examine and bargain with each other. But the most interesting part is to see how people's ideas are different on a would-be market buster.

UK is a great place to start a business. It has a great reputation and many unique features that are easily associated with lots of attractive ideas. These are invaluable benefits for some businesses.

Nowadays capital is not a rare resource anymore. That leaves creative and actionable ideas and the personality of the new starters the decisive factors.

Our country has a lot of well-known successful business people, some of them are listed in the 2014 Forbes Billionaires. If given the opportunity to start and have my own business in the UK, I would love to have a small restaurant that would cater from low end to high end people. I think the most important thing in opening a business is the love and the enjoyment you have when doing it. Also, we need to take advice from the people who already are successful.

To anyone who is kind enough to check my paragraph, I deeply appreciate it.

Yeah I think so.In order to be successful you should love what you do and that bring the success in your business gradually, though. I'd have a quick look at your paragraph and you seem to be doing fine even though you have some grammatical errors. However, you are still be able to get your message across! :)

I can not watch the videos :(

Hello hashas,

Some mobile devices don't display content developed in Flash - that might be the problem if you're using such a device. Whatever device you're using, check to see if you have the latest version of the Flash player installed and then try to watch it again. If that doesn't work, please let us know what kind of device you're using and what you see and we'll do our best to help you.
