Hello william49,

I'm afraid it's not possible for us to make the videos available for download for technical and legal reasons, unfortunately.  However, your computer should buffer the videos while streaming, which means that if you start streaming a while before you intend to show it and pause the video immediately it should pre-load the stream as a part of the buffering process, which may enable you to play it smoothly.

I hope that suggestion helps somewhat.  Good luck!

Best wishes,

I have visited a similar garden in Shanghai, China a few months ago. However, I think the Eden Project may  set  a  better example for us. I hope I can visit the garden in the future. I really love all these cute plants.

please help me, i don't understand English language.

Hello Rais Aziz Hakim,

We'll be happy to help you - that's what the site is for, after all!  However, we need to know how to help you, and your question is very general.  Is there anything specific that we can help you with?  For example, perhaps there is some part of the language that you want to practise, or something particular that you don't understand and would like us to explain for you, or perhaps there are certain topics that you'd like to learn about.  Please let us know and we'll be happy to try to help you.

Best wishes,

When I read the text, I understand everything and I can do all tasks correctly. While I listen the text I understand almost nothing and can`t do exercises.

Hello Arzu Islam,

If you can understand the text when reading the transcript then clearly the problem is not your language level in terms of grammar, vocabulary and so on.  Rather, it is a question of getting used to hearing natural spoken English, and that requires time and practice.  You can use the transcript to help you - please don't feel that this is some kind of cheating!  Use transcripts and you will get used to the speed and the pronunciation of the speakers.  After you have finished the activities, listen again and try speaking with the recording.  Then try listening again without the transcript.  These are all methods of bridging the gap between reading and listening and it does take time - be patient, work at it in the way I have suggested above and you will make progress.

Good luck!

Hi Tota Hattota,

Thanks for your kind feedback.

To change your password, you should click on your username (at the top of your comment). On the page that opens, you should see an Edit tab near the top. If you click there, you'll see a box with your username and then an empty box that says Current password. Just to the right of that box, you should see Request new password in small green type. If you click on that, you should get an email with instructions on how to change your password.

Best wishes,

The LearnEnglish Team
