Hello Zoya Hassan,

I'd suggest you trying viewing the video in a different browser or on another device. I've checked the video and it seems to be working - I've just watched it myself and see no problems. If using a different browser and/or device doesn't work for you, please let us know what device and browser (including browser version) you're using and we'll see if we can help you.

All the best,
The LearnEnglish Team

Hello again Zoya Hassan,

OK, thanks for that information. I've reported this to our technical team. I'll let you know as soon as I hear back from them.

In the meantime, if you manage to get the video to play, please let us know!

Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.

All the best,
The LearnEnglish Team

sir! i could not hear a single word from their conversation and this is the problem that i have at work more especially when answering a phone. I will not hear the person on the other end

Hello Kesaobaka Seseko Gosetseng,

You can find advice on improving listening on our FAQ page

Remember that listening is not always a test. To improve your listening skills it is perfectly fine to use the transcript so that you can listen and read at the same time. This will help you get used to the sounds of spoken English and get used to understanding the flow of speech. As you improve you can use the transcript less, of course.

Best wishes,

The LearnEnglish Team

He spoke way too fast. I keep repeat the audio and listen carefully to what he say. I might not understand a word if i were not read the transcript.

HI sir... I found it so difficult to track conversation they speak quickly give me any advises to improve listening skills

Hello haska18,

There's some general advice on improving your listening on our Frequently asked questions page. On this page, I'd recommend you use the Transcript (under the Task) as you listen. It's also helpful to practise saying phrases that you find difficult to understand at first, as this will help you remember them and make them easier to recognise in the future. In any case, be patient with yourself – it takes time to improve your listening, but with consistent practice, you will improve.

Good luck!

All the best,
The LearnEnglish Team

Thank You. Good Conversations, I often have same problem to not accepting invitations!
