I was so impressed by their  british accet, I like it , it's so clear and comprehensible.

I agree with you. It is quiet right!!! I enjoy when I listen them.

I'm so happy that I can see them again , who have looked very well. One of my dreams is that I meet them one day.  I wonder that they're just staff in British council or actors in some agent ?

Hi Shan,
Rob, like me, works for the British Council - I see him most weeks! We're both English teachers who mostly work with web sites and other technology these days. If you want to hear more of Rob, try listening to Series 3 of Elementary Podcasts, under the 'Listen and Watch' menu above.
Ashlie and Stephen don't work for the British Council - apart from when they're filming 'Word on the Street'! If you watch the episodes carefully you can find out their surname and then search for them on the internet to find out more...

This video is absolutely amazing! I couldn't like more all your Word on the Street videos. The actors and actresses are awesome! Their English is pretty clear and the videos are so colourful and interesting! Please, make more if you please!

Hello Candelaria,

this scene is fantastic for learning English to me

welcome back Ashlie and Stephen)..i'm so pleased to see u again. Thanks a lot .

I'm really happy to see Stephen and Ashlie again, especially talking about Shakespeare. I love these British Council Learning English series and I would like to see more videos of the "How to" series. It's so cool to see how we can use the English language in daily situations and I used to enjoy so much the girl's accent. I think she was Scottish or something :D

Hello Amanda,
It's great you enjoy 'Word on the Street' so much and I hope you find it helps your English. Which girl's accent are you talking about? If it's Ashlie, she has an English accent and so does the woman who works at the Globe Theatre.
Best wishes,
