Tanks for this usefull site I am new here I hope I learn something.

Hi LearnEnglish Team!
I'm new here but I've listened and watched all these clips and I think I've improved my English much more than before. But there are much I don't understand. Here is the one.
Stpehen said, "Typical, Ash!". What does it mean? Could you give some more examples about this usage? Thank you very much.

Hi Aung Thet Naing,
It's great that you feel that you're improving your English here on LearnEnglish!  Keep it up!
'Typical, Ash' in this context means 'That's typical of you, Ash'.  Stephen is making a joke that Ash always chooses the biggest thing to buy, even though she has a small flat.
It's quite a common comment to make when you want to say 'It's always the same', especially about things that go wrong or are not good in some way.  Another way to say it would be 'Isn't that just typical!'
I hope that answers your question.
Best wishes,
The LearnEnglish Team

Thank you very much, Peter!
So in Indoor Sports episode, after they've arrived the sports centre, the sun comes out and brightens up. I think "Typical" said by Ash in that context must go the same way about the weather.

hey,any body there?i cant find to run the video, please help

Hello bavar!
Sorry to hear you're having problems watching the video. Unfortunately, users in Iran do have trouble watching some of our videos.
We are trying a solution for some of our videos however. You should see a link that says 'Can't see video? Click here!' just under the main video on this page. Please tell me if you can see that video; if you can't, I will try to give you some more help. We want to move all our videos to this system eventually!
Don't forget we also have audio files available to listen to or download, and you should have no problem with these. Try our Elementary Podcasts or some of our stories.

Hello Jeremy,
I have the same problem as Bavar ... and I do not live in Iran :) I am from the Czech Republic and I use Mackintosh and Safari browser. Could that be the problem?
Furthermore I don't see the exercises bellow the video, only the transcript :( Do you have any suggestions what to do?
Thanks a lot in advance
Best regards
PS: I've tried the link "Can't see video? Click here" and nothing happened.
