Sometimes, this web site works incorrectly.
A few minutes ago, the "Task" page did not show up.
And sometimes I can't type in the box of those tasks. It dose not work.
What's wrong with this web site? What can I do?

Hello Sunny-Jeong,

Sometimes there are problems with any website, including LearnEnglish. Obviously, we try to keep any problems to a minimum and fix them as soon as they occur but from time to time there may be issues. However, these happen quite rarely with LearnEnglish. if there are frequent problems then it may be a local issue (i.e. a question of your connection or your equipment (device, browser, operating system). If you find yourself having problems accessing the pages or with page functionality frequently then please let us know when and how often and we'll look into it for you. Please also let us know what device you are using as this may be relevant too.

Best wishes,

Peter

Hello Peter,

Thank you for the answer.
I have these problems frequently. I'm using Intel Pentium and my computer's OS is Window 7, browser is Chrome.
Thank you.

Sunny

Hello Sunny,

Do you have these problems only on LearnEnglish, or does it happen on other websites, too? Is it always the exercises that fail, or are there other parts that don't work either?

When there are problems with the exercises and/or videos, often downloading and installing the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player solves the problem, so I'd suggest you try that as well.

Best wishes,

May i know the title of that song? thank you in advanced!

Hi Bryan,

As far as I know, this song was created just for this episode of Word on the Street, so I don't think you'll be able to find it anywhere else. You can see the lyrics for the short part that is played below.

hiii... i am a new comer to this website i want to know about ( be + getting to and be+ going to) that are smiler words?

Hello chathurani shamila,

Welcome to LearnEnglish! We're glad you found us.

'be going to' is explained on our talking about the future page. The meaning of 'be getting to' really depends on context, as the verb 'get' has many different uses. I'd suggest you look 'get' up in our dictionary (see the search box on the right) to see its definitions and some examples of it in use.

Best wishes,

Dear Sir,
Do you mind if I ask you the lyrics. Actually I couldn't catch the words.
Best regards,
KO KO

Hi Ko Ko,

The part of the song that is heard at 2:13 on says:

Today I smiled at a stranger
It didn't put me in danger
Today I decided
To let it all go

Enjoy!

Best wishes,
Kirk
