Thak you very much for taking so much care about my problem. The problem still persists. My pc works on window 7 and I usually use google as the browser. As per you suggestions I used google chrome, I didn't face any problem in watching the videos of brit. council. This clearly shows that I have something wrong with my google browser. (With the error message, something appeared, but for only a second, so I could not read it. That message did not appear again.) As an Indian I always like British english. Your videos have helped me to improve my English and for that I am always thankful to you.

unable to see the videos now.

Hello Ningappa Chandapure,

I've just checked the video and it appears to be working fine. I see that you said 'now' in your comment - does this mean that the video was working before, and has just stopped recently? If so, it may be a temporary problem. Do you have problems with other videos on the site (such as this one, for example), or just this one?

Please let us know if you are still having problems with this. If so, please also let us know what device you are using to access the site. The videos require Flash-compatibility and some devices, such as some mobile devices, do not have this.

Best wishes,

why i can't see the vedio?

Hi Lingna,

I was just able to watch the video with no problems, so I'm afraid you'll have to tell us more about what kind of device you're using and what happens. You could also try viewing it in a different browser, and updating your Flash player - or installing one if you don't have it already. This often solves the problem.

i have a question regarding comma, i wil show it through example. Mr Ali,Ahmad and salim are playing football. did i use the commas correctly.? another example mr ali, ahmad, salim and moin pare playing football. did i use the commas correctly here? plz let me know i m unable to understand it. because some one told me if you are talking about four people or tihings then i have to use comma before and?

Hello seabuni,

The answer really depends on who you ask. As you can see in the wikipedia entry for Serial commas, many style guides recommend using a comma before and in such lists, but especially in British English, normally a serial comma is not used before and. If you're writing for a publisher or teacher, then you should ask what they prefer, but if you're just writing for general purposes, you can decide which you prefer.

hi! nice to meet you :).
we say " haven't seen for ages" or " haven't seen in ages" or the both are correct .
thank you :).

Hello gentleman128,

You can use both "for ages" and "in ages" after the present perfect. Please note, however, that the verb see requires a direct object, so these phrases without a direct object are not correct. In other words, you must say something like "I haven't seen you for/in ages".
